1. What are Escape Room Workshops?

Think of it as the best of both worlds: part interactive workshop, part escape room adventure. We start with a short, focused session on a key skill like communication, creativity, or problem-solving. Then, instead of just talking about it, your team gets to test those skills in a real escape room challenge. The puzzles and time pressure act as a fun simulation of team-based challenges — only with more laughs and fewer spreadsheets. It’s learning by doing, wrapped up in an unforgettable experience. 

2. Who are your workshops for? 

Pretty much any group that works (or plays!) together. We regularly run sessions for businesses, corporate teams, non-profits, schools, youth clubs, and community groups. We even offer special programs for recruitment, so if you're looking for the right person to be working with in a tight deadline, we've got you covered!

3. How many people can participate at once? 

Our venue in Manukau, Auckland can accommodate up to 32 participants at once, and for larger groups we can run events in consecutive waves so no one misses out.  

4. How long does a typical workshop last? 

Workshops typically take 2 hours. We'd recommend adding an additional 5 or 10 minutes at the start to get checked-in and set up teams.

5. Do you customise workshops for specific teams or goals? 

Absolutely! Our workshops include an option to choose a focus between enhancing problem-solving, boosting creativity, or improving communication skills. We also offer more bespoke workshops with our Crafted Workshop package where we work with you to align the activities with your goals — reach out to us if this is something you're interested in.

6. What if some team members are hesitant about escape rooms? 

Some people who've never played an escape room before can get nervous, but fret not — our sessions are about fun and teamwork. There is no required trivia knowledge, jump scares, or small enclosed spaces; and you are never actually locked in a room. The staff and facilitators are well equipped to handle nerves, and always show you clear exit doorways in case anyone needs the restroom or just to step out for some fresh air. 
We design the experience to be inclusive, supportive, and enjoyable for everyone, even if they’ve never stepped foot in an escape room before. 

7. How much does it cost? 

Our pricing depends on the size of your group and the type of workshop you choose, but range from $60 to $85 per person, including GST.

9. Can I just book an escape room without the workshop?
